Welcome to Mira Riverfront Getaway. The Cedar & The Pine are two neighbouring cottages that overlook the popular Mira River, Cape Breton Island. Both cottages are 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom and sleep 5 guests. The cottages are approximately 150 ft apart and are separated by a tree line for privacy. No amenities are shared between the two cottages.

Choose one cottage to make family memories or choose both to wrap yourself in quiet solitude.

Pet friendly We understand that dogs are family. As long as you pooch is friendly, they are more than welcome to come along. We allow 1 dog per cottage and have a pet fee of $20 per night.

Location We are approximately 25 minutes from Sydney. We are within driving distance to beautiful beaches, the Two Rivers Wildlife Park, The Lakes Golf Course and the town of Louisburg. If you are looking to explore the cabot trail, we may not be the location for you!

Sleep Well A sound sleep is an important part of any vacation. We choose comfortable mattresses, pillows and high-quality bed linens.

Fully-Equipped Kitchens Both cottages have full kitchens ( no dishwasher in the cedar) We try to have everything you may possibly require for cooking a meal. We know some of the best vacation moments happen over a wonderful meal.

Luxury Amenities Depending on which cottage you choose, experience a private 6 person hot tub, or a 5 person barrel sauna overlooking the river.

Bathroom Both bathrooms are completely updated. Equipped with a tub and rain shower heads, heated floors, wood ceilings, beautiful tile, shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
